The “Organized Thieves of American Products”
From the recent hackings of Google e-mails to the infiltration of defense contractors, the Chinese have essentially declared cyber war on the United States. Not only are they openly and actively stealing trade secrets, but they are also hacking into our intelligence computers. It is about time that we recognize their declaration of war and finally deal with this problem posed by China’s high tech mafia, says Congressman Ted Poe of Texas’s 2nd district. Congressman Poe, who wrote an article in the Washington Times on this subject, is one of the first to openly suggest that the Chinese government backs these Mafioso-like crimes such as the intelligence hackings and counterfeiting of American products. These “thieves of American products,” as Poe describes the Chinese, are proactively making a profit out of counterfeiting our commodities at the expense of the US manufacturing industry. Additionally, Congressman Poe examines with Frank the “backdoor amnesty” policy of the Obama administration that is allowing 300,000 convicted illegal immigrants to walk free. This policy is an apparent disregard of the laws of the land put forth by the Legislative Brank of the United States government.
Next, Executive Director of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, Michael Toscano joins Secure Freedom Radio to give us his insight on the air, ground, and maritime unmanned systems being implemented in military warfare. According to Toscano, the unmanned system that flies, drives, and navigates makes up only thirty percent of the enitre system. The other seventy percent is comprised of collection and processing data centers. While many people believe these systems are in themselves more effective and efficient than human operators, Toscano argues that these robotic machines are merely an extension of the eyes, hands, and ears of humans. They allow the operators to stand off at a distance for a longer period of time than they would if they were in the environment themselves. He also explores the commercial processing applications of these unmanned systems.
In the third segment, Professor of Political Science at Grover City College, Paul Kengor surveys the domestic spending problem in the US that has duped many political leaders into thinking defense should be cut. In a recent graph displaced by Kengor that shows federal spending from 1789 until 2016, the federal government did not decrease overall domestic spending from 1960 until 2006. The government did, however, greatly downsize the military budget, which left us unable to fulfill Reagan’s policy of peace through strength. Furthermore, Kengor argues that in today’s world we must have the capability to commit to two wars at one time.
Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum on Democracy, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, concludes today’s show discussing the lack of true representation that Muslim Americans have in today’s US politics. He states that while only thirty percent of Muslims in America are affiliated with any group, one-half of those affiliated are aligned with Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as CAIR. Additionally, he urges those Muslims who came to this country to escape Islamist extremists need to be awakened and identify with more moderate groups.
From Today’s Show Prep:
Known Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society have portrayed themselves as the true “gate-keepers” to the American Muslim community in the United States. Their perversion of the American political system misguide gullible government officials who believe that pleasing these organizations will satisfy the overall American Muslim population.
