Jihad is built into the Islamic faith, and is the solemn duty of ALL believers! The belief that there are a large number of “moderate Muslims” that would support us is a MYTH!
We need to structure our threat assessment on the FACT that ISLAMIC JIHAD is the problem, that the Jihadist groups and their actions are well grounded in mainstream ISLAMIC Doctrine. If there are any “misunderstanders” of Islam, they are all on our side!
